A Rocha is an environmental NGO with a Christian ethos and worldview that works mostly to preserve a wetland in the Southwest Algarve (a Natura 2000 area), but under severe pressure for tourism urbanization. A Rocha fulfils these goals through scientific research, environmental education, environmental advocacy.
